Terfezia claveryi stands out becuse its high content in ascorbic acid, which provides a high antioxidant power. Its nutritional values are:

  • 28% carbohydrates.
  • 17% proteins.

It also contains large amounts of iron and magnesium, as well as different vitamins as A, B, C.

Their diameter can range from 5-10 centimeters and its shape is irregular. They are usually brown with shade of pink and red.
